Additional maintenance works on runway 25L/07R
Following the first phase of maintenance works on runway 25L/07R last June, the second and final phase will take place in November.
Following maintenance works on the central part of runway 25L/07R in June, it was decided to renovate the remaining parts of the runway after further inspection. The works are being carried out to continue to ensure safe and smooth operations, particularly in view of the upcoming winter season.
A detailed schedule for these additional works is currently being established in consultation with skeyes and the partners at the airport, taking into account the flight schedules. The maintenance is being planned in such a way to minimise the impact on operations. The actual works will start on 6 November and are scheduled for completion on 12 November, with a possible delay of a few days in case of bad weather.
As it intersects with runway 25L/07R, runway 01/19 will have to close for 48 hours to allow for the planned work.
The works will have an impact on runway use, which means that it will not always be possible to apply the PRS ( Preferential Runway System ).
Runway use, wind conditions, any planned works and the potential impact on runway use are always announced on this website.
