Clearer information about maintenance works thanks to updated webpage
Maintenance works on the tarmac at Brussels Airport are announced on this website in the "works" section. From 28 April 2025, an updated page will provide a clearer and more detailed overview of the works and their impact on runway usage at the airport.
The updated page offers a monthly overview that clearly indicates the days on which works are scheduled. An interactive timeline for each day quickly shows which runways are impacted. This information is displayed both on the map itself and in a text box. Additionally, for each day and time slot, the expected runway usage for landings and take-offs is provided.
Thanks to the automation of data entry the expected runway usage is now available much more quickly. However, while this automation process has been thoroughly tested, errors and bugs cannot be entirely ruled out, particularly in the first days. The process will therefore be closely monitored.
The more detailed and better-structured display of the planned works and their impact makes the information easier to access and provides a better user experience.
