Additional inspections on runway 25L/07R
The runways and taxiways at Brussels Airport are constantly inspected to guarantee their good condition and safety.
Because of the higher temperatures these past few days, it has been decided to carry out additional inspections on runway 25L/07R. Consequently, runway 25L/07R will be unavailable from 12 noon today until 5 am tomorrow morning.
As a result of these inspections and the changing wind direction, it will not always be possible to apply the PRS ( Preferential Runway System ).
Runway use is governed by wind conditions. Because of the north north east wind in the past few weeks, runways 25L and 25R could not be used.
Runway use, wind conditions, any planned works and the potential impact on the runway use are always announced on this website.
